Grant to Academic Achievement Programs Helps Students Dress for Success
The importance of making a positive first impression, especially during an interview, is recognized in the Academic Achievement Programs use of a generous gift from Steve Leonard (IVSP '78) to provide several AAP students with new business suits and outfits (such as AAP student George Akparewa left). Mr. Leonard has been an active supporter of the University of Maryland for many years. In addition, he has contributed both his resources and time to support students in Letters and Sciences and for scholarships to Individual Studies students. For information on how you might support any of the programs in Undergraduate Studies contact Director of Development Heidi Bruce.
